Abigail Magalong is a graduate of the Department of Communication at UCLA. After graduation, she worked as a Research Assistant on the interdisciplinary project vrNewsScape, funded under the US National Science Foundation’s initiative for Cyberenabled Discovery and Innovation, and collaborated with Prof. Francis Steen to develop a causal reasoning model of television news. She is currently gaining industry experience, working as a Broadcast Television and Radio Buyer at Omnicom Media Group, a global advertising agency.
