Eva Joly

Eva Joly is a Norwegian born French magistrate and politician for Europe Écologie (The Greens) – the party she represented as a candidate for the presidency of France in the 2012 elections. Joly is an outspoken critic of government corruption. She has published several books, including her autobiography Corruption Hunter (2001), as well as Plan for a Better World (2004) and Justice under Siege (2006). Joly holds the honorary doctorate from the University of Bergen, and is the recipient of many awards and prizes including the Equal Opportunity Award of the Norwegian Confederation of Vocational Unions in 2003, the Norwegian Humanist Association’s Humanist Prize (2004) and the Global Financial Integrity Award.
